Successful online learning depends on support networks and our Presence Awareness tool helps you to build a healthy online community.

As soon as you log on an icon appears to represent your presence. If there are any messages left for you they will be indicated by a small speech bubble on your icon. Clicking on your icon opens the message and lets you reply in the same box. Or you can click on any of the little icons and choose someone to send an instant message to from the drop down box. From within this tool you can also send an email and start a mini-chat.
