Organisation
The Organisation component enables the management of locations, organisation units, user management, core competencies and competency profiles. Janison supports the implementation and importation process to transfer data from your organisation's system/s to populate the Organisation component. This will help create your organisational structure, along with positions in organisational units, users in positions and their additional competencies, core (organisational) competencies and competency profiles.
Training
The Training component enables management of your organisation's training events and activities. You can schedule ongoing training or create one-off training events and allocate training resources including training staff, equipment and venues. Each training activity allows you to link competency requisites, either from training packages or organisation specific competencies. Some training events require certification and Workplace can generate unique certificates. . Training activities can identify a cost per attendee and a cost centre which enables your organisational unit to budget for training.
Competencies
The Competency component will assist you to add training packages that will link competencies to training events, core competencies, competency profiles and user records. Workplace can also assist you in managing the competency assessment process. Janison Workplace includes a converter tool that processes and imports (typically large) training package files such as AQTF or NTIS in an easy step process. The competency assessment management feature allows a user to manually check off individual competencies achieved and forward them to their manager for approval
Capabilities
Capabilities within your organisation may include a number of categories, for example, communication, leadership or computer skills. These can be recorded and linked to a number of competency requisites that your organisation requires.
Compliance
The Compliance component enables you to search for information about the compliance and competency status of users, organisational units, or competency units. This component also includes searching for external qualifications of users.
Reports
Many combinations of reports can be generated to show the current status of data for your organisation, compliance, competency and training events.
