We have built a number of linkages to other systems for a range of clients. We believe in this respect, we provide a unique advantage to our clients. Our system is built on an open database an object model which is increasingly providing standards compliant interfaces, but because we also own all of our IP it is very easy for us to develop non-standard interfaces to other systems. We like to work closely with our clients so that we ensure we build tools that specifically meet their needs.
Through the development of the Janison LMS we have 'invented' a range of innovative tools and processes that can be used or redeveloped to create very effective connections to other systems. An example of such is our Course Transfer tool which can move courses from one server to another by simply using a web browser as the 'connecting pipe'. What this means is that as well as being able to provide simple interfaces for data exchange between local servers we also have the ability to solve more difficult problems where data needs to travel across a WAN or across different platforms.
